撒该悔改

1耶稣进了耶利哥，要从那里经过。 2有一个人名叫撒该，作税吏长，是个财主。 3他要看看耶稣是怎样的人，只因人多，他的身材又矮，所以看不见。 4于是他跑到前头，爬上桑树，要看耶稣，因为耶稣要从那里经过。 5耶稣到了那里，抬头一看，对他说：“撒该，快下来！今天我必须住在你家里。” 6他就急忙下来，欢欢喜喜地接待耶稣。 7众人看见，都私下议论说：“他竟然到罪人家里去住宿。” 8撒该站着对主说：“主啊，我把所有的一半给穷人；我若勒索了谁，就还他四倍。” 9耶稣对他说：“今天救恩到了这家，因为他也是亚伯拉罕的子孙。 10人子来是要寻找和拯救失丧的人。”

Jesus and Zacchaeus

1 He entered Jericho and was passing through. 2And behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector and was rich. 3And he was seeking to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not, because he was small in stature. 4So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was about to pass that way. 5And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.” 6So he hurried and came down and received him joyfully. 7And when they saw it, they all grumbled, “He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.” 8And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.” 9And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. 10For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
