我们所看见所听见的，我们不能不说。

• 约翰一书 4:19

我们爱，因为上帝先爱我们。

跟初期教会一样，使徒行传4:20的这番话也应该是我们自然的反应。 彼得和约翰基本上是在说：“你们想怎样是你们的事，但是我们不能不宣扬我们的信仰，因为它真是太棒了！”诚如某人所述：如果你真的相信有天堂和地狱，那你必须恨一个人恨到什么地步，才会不愿意向他介绍耶稣呢？

我们可能会辩称自己怕别人会怎么想或怎么说，可实际上，那只是自私的说法。我们遇到耶稣后，才发现世界并不是绕着我们打转的，而且自私的心态本来就是弄糟我们生活的祸根之一。让我们把目光转离我们自己，深深地关心那些在我们生活中还远离上帝的人吧。

We love because he first loved us.

Like it was for the early church, this ought to be our natural reaction. Basically they’re saying, ‘We don’t know about you, but we can’t help but spread our faith – it’s too great!’ As it’s been said – how much do you actually have to hate a person not to tell them about Jesus if you truly believe in Heaven and Hell?

We may make arguments that we're afraid of what they'll think about us or what they'll say but the truth is, that's selfishness talking. When we meet Jesus we realize that the world doesn't revolve around us and that selfishness was part of what ruined our life in the first place. Let's take our eyes off of ourselves and care deeply for those in our lives that are far from God.
