假若我们遵从上帝，很自然我们就会（在大多数情况下）行世人眼中认为是善的事。这是因为上帝已把有关良好品行的真谛深植于祂所创造的每个人，因此人人对道德有普遍的共识。哥林多后书8:21基本上是在警告我们不能只在表面上跟随上帝，而实际上却亏待周围的人、欺骗他人，或是不遵守人们所公认的基本法律。

我们不光是在主的眼中，也要在人的眼中做义人。当然，我们不该去迎合任何违背上帝的世俗道德，但在世人认为是善良、美好、热心等事上，我们则应该身先士卒。

For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.

• Ephesians 4:32

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

• Luke 6:35

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

If we follow God, naturally we will be doing what is right (for the most part) in the eyes of man. This is because God’s truth about good conduct is planted in every person that He’s created and there’s a general consensus about what morality looks like. This passage is simply warning us that we can’t just follow God, but be jerks to those around us, cheat others, or not follow basic laws that are recognized by men.

We strive to be right in the eyes of the Lord, but also in the eyes of man. Certainly we don't concede to any type of worldly morality that might go against what God has for us, but when it comes to the things of the world that are considered kind, good, hospitable, etc. we should be at the forefront.

祈祷上帝打开你的眼睛，反省在人生中有哪些方面你标榜自己是基督徒，但生活上却空有虚名。

Pray that God opens your eyes to any areas of your life where you’re saying you’re a Christian, but aren’t living a life that reflects it.
