律法不是上帝本身，律法只不过是让我们知道上帝的要求。任何明白上帝的要求是要求我们像他一样完美的人，都应该要知道去祈求上帝本身的怜悯，而不是企图以血肉之躯去成就那永无止尽的完美。我们永远不可能得到上帝的心，除非我们明白我们永远不可能像上帝一样完美。

人总是自以为是，他的固执也会让他自己产生盲目的自信，直到死的那一天才发现自己不过是人，却为时已晚。

上帝透过律法向我们展示祂的完美要求，但他不要我们以为靠自己能达到上帝的要求。我们可以透过律法认识上帝的完美，也认识自己的有限，但我们无法透过行律法来满足上帝的要求。上帝要的是我们与「上帝本身」建立关系，而不是与祂的「律法」（完美要求）建立关系。

与上帝建立关系最好的方法是什么呢？就是相信耶稣是上帝的儿子，他为我们的罪付上死亡的代价，他死在十字架上，并且第三天从死里复活。让我们谨记，唯有相信耶稣，而不是相信自己或其它的事物，才能与上帝建立永恒生命的关系，这就是「因信称义」。

The law is not God Himself; the law is only to let us know God's requirements. Anyone who understands that God's requirement is for us to be perfect like Him should know to pray for God's mercy, rather than trying to achieve that endless perfection with their flesh. We can never gain God's heart unless we understand that we can never be perfect like God."

Human beings always think they are right, and their stubbornness can make them generate blind confidence in themselves until the day they die, only to realize that they are just human, but it is already too late.

God shows us His requirements of perfection through the law, but He doesn't want us to think that we can meet His requirements by ourselves. We can use the law to know God's perfection and our limitations, but we cannot satisfy God's demands through obeying the law. What God wants is for us to build a relationship with "God Himself", not with His "law" (requirements of perfection).

What is the best way to establish a relationship with God? It is to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who paid the price of our sins by dying on the cross, and rose from the dead on the third day. Let us remember that only by believing in Jesus, and not in ourselves or other things, can we establish an eternal relationship with God. This is what is meant by "justification by faith.
